IMA Special Parts Index Brake System

Following up the great success of the TBS (Thumb Brake System), IMA now proposes the IBS (Index Brake System).

The IBS applies to the handlebar and allows you to activate your rear brake by using your left hand.

The riding benefits are the same as the thumb brake, but the IBS works by pulling instead of pushing, the lever is longer and the braking effect is enhanced.

The master cylinder features harmonious and compact shapes for a small encumbrance, as well as a proportionate bore in order to offer an excellent braking feeling.

Product ideal for track use, whereas the clutch is now rarely used and can be moved to make room for a second lever (Typically the clutch lever is rotated upwards and the IBS placed in the clutch lever position).

The lever is adjustable thanks to the combined action of the adjustable push rod.

The perfect leverage ratio, the study of the components ergonomics and the CAD/CAM machining results in very comfortable usage and the braking is pleasant and performing.

This Index Brake System is available in two options:

Racing - This replaces your Rear Brake completely and you can only activate your Rear Brake by pulling the hand lever.

Complete - This includes a Dual Input Master Cylinder and will allow you to activate your Rear Brake by pulling the hand lever or using your rear brake lever.
